Market Opens THURSDAY, MAY 17th, 2012 !

The Pleasant Hills Farmers Market is a fund raising project of the Pleasant Hills Lions Club.  Local vendors supply various products every Thursday from 3:30 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church located at 199  Old Clairton Road in Pleasant Hills, PA (GOOGLE MAP HERE).  Months of operation for 2012 are from May 17th until October 18th.

This website will feature our vendors and you may also subscribe to our mailing list for weekly specials that the vendors will have.

Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program

Many of our farmers welcome FMNP payment vouchers and WIC checks. These farmers display a sign indicating their participation. FMNP offers coupons to seniors to buy fresh, unprepared fruits, vegetables, and herbs at local farmers’ markets.

For updated information about the Senior FMNP/WIC coupons click here  – ( FMNP checks and WIC checks are valid for use when purchasing produce items only).   FMNP checks are available at your local Senior Center.
